So wait, I notice that it shows "Trial Version" up where the Download link is...if its free why is there a trial version? IS it free or does it have the "freeware" mindset?..that gives you the app for a limited time? More

Excellent free office suite.
Excellent free office suite, good compatibility and clean interface. As a freeware, you can't expect it to get completely the same functions with MS Office, however, it is good enough for daily word processing and other tasks.
Pros:
small and fast running
multiple tabs
Cons:
more dictionaries More

FREE, user friendly, highly compatible and practically designed. .
FREE, User friendly, Highly compatible, Practical. It has what a home user needs. If you are not in the programming line, nor are you in a big commercial firm that has to do a lot of software tweaking, why need other powerful features found in other office suites? I am just a poor guy. Thanks a lot, Kingsoft. Good job! More

KingSoft 2012.
I've tried several office suites. Microsoft Word, Libreoffice and OpenOffice. Then i've tried Kingsoft. Kingsoft was the 2nd best after Microsft Word.
Pros:
Quick Startup time, takes less space and a tab functionability. Supports many files ( Doc, etc)
Cons:
The butttons take a lot of space, MS style interface only in Standard and Professinal, and cannot save as Docx. More

KS Office Suite slow.
I have noticed that typing is extremely slow using the program, making it almost unusable if you type more than 20 wpm. It's ridiculous. I have a Asus A200 tablet and use a usb connected keyboard that works fantastic except with this program. Not worth the purchase. More
