As a freeware, you can't expect it to get completely the same functions with MS Office, however, it is good enough for daily word processing and other tasks. FREE, user friendly, highly compatible and practically designed. . FREE, User friendly, Highly compatible, Practical. It has what a home user needs. If you are not in the programming line, nor are you in a big commercial firm that has to do a lot of software tweaking, why need other powerful features found in other office suites? KS Office Suite slow. I have noticed that typing is extremely slow using the program, making it almost unusable if you type more than 20 wpm. It's ridiculous. I have a Asus A200 tablet and use a usb connected keyboard that works fantastic except with this program. Not worth the purchase.

Very good, but changes regional settings at startup.. Kingsoft Office renders native Microsoft formats with ease. .doc and .docx files are almost exact, as are excel files.(European) users of calculating software beware:Kingsoft Office is changing the number notation at startup (decimal comma and thousand point), resulting in other programs giving one-digit outcomes. Pros: Very good compatability with Microsoft Office when the same font is available. Cons: Unacceptable change in the registry for number notation.
